in love and war everything is allowed, so im also gonna try at this forum, i hope this is okay, otherwise I will simply delete the topic.

Distinguished Gentlemans Ride, also called DGR for shortening. is every year at the 30th of September, around the globe where people suit up on their old motorcycles to get more focus on mens Health. This is important for me, since both my father and boss is hitted by this cancer.

I am myself from Denmark, and im gonna ride in the streets of our Capitol Copenhagen, together with 200 other men and women, on our old bikes and fancy suits Last year there was more than 92.000 motorcycles Worldwide from 92 countryes.

All the Money we collect will go to prostate cancer research programs that Works together with the Movember Foundations, which is the biggest foundraiser for stopping prostate cancer.



If any of you feel to help out my donations, i will really apriciate it. It dosnt matter if its 1 euro or 10.000, everything makes a difference

I rode my 1984 Honda V65 Magna in the DGR in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada ride last year. I enjoyed it.

This year I am hoping to ride my newly purchased 1985 K100RT

I was unable to register for the Sydney DGR this year due to uncertain travel plans. However, I did go down to Blues Point today and managed to photograph a few K bikes passing.

I have higher resolution copies if anyone wants.

i also rode the dgr , last year  here in Brisbane ,





missed this year as the heavens opened up  about 1/2 an hour before stands up .(and kept on raining for the next three hours )

about 280 riders still attended though


will be going next year for the cause , lets hope the rain stays away

Charlie is that you on the RT? 2nd last pic with a white full face helmet on...has me wondering bout you as the only folk here in South Australia that use white full face helmets are unmarked police bikes..(unmarked apart from the obvious give away white full face helmet)..

yeah its a motocross helmet,  no visor

the white keeps the head cooler than the black paint , have a range of them now ...giggles

Just comeback from the DGR ride in Halifax. This year, the flag bearer was my K100 (the only K). The only other BMW rider was one lady on a R75/5.
