Hi.

It si a bit ebarrasing (a lot) but in all the excitement of taking off the frame I pulled out rubber mounts that connect frame to the engine. They are not simetrical as I thought. Does anyone has any idea or maybe a good quality photo of that part of the frame. I can't find it anywhere and photos on the net are not good enough. Even original workshop manual doesn't show it. I guess they thought nobody can be that daft to pull it out without checking. Well, suprise. I've noticed that someone asked that question on some point but never got the anwser. Please. help.

Wherefore, Arthou? Do you mean one end is wider in diameter than the other?

A hint: go to the top of the forum page, click on 'profile', fourth tab from the right. After clicking on the 'signature' tab insert the year and model of your bike (also enter the last 7 digits of the VIN if you aren't sure what exact month/year it is), press save, then in the future anyone who is answering a question you might have can see the requisite info. See below. You can also insert something lofty or poetic (or sarcastic, we love that) for entertainment purposes.
Cheers.

Thanks for the tip. Signature done (I hope). As for the manual I have that one. Unfortunately it doesnt show in detail which way they go in p46-61 (at least I can't work it out). I guess it for people know what are they doing. Not the case with me. Thanks nevertheless. Can almost hear generations of German engineers having a cheap laugh.

Maybe someone has taken off a frame. Little picture would do.

To paraphrase Croc Dundee, "It tastes like sh*t, but you can eat it."
