Hello all, quick question.  Does anyone know if the fuel rail cover from the K100 will fit on a K1100?  The mounting holes are 152mm center to center on my RS.

I can picture an aftermarket 'fuel rail cover' for K100 that, I think, CC Products sold. I don't know of one for K100 or K1100 from BMW as an OEM part. The rails are different part numbers for either model, but the mounting point centre to centre is the same between them - 152mm

Ah... Ok, my mistake then.  This is a picture I lifted off the web.  I thought it was an OE cover.  I did see that one on ebay just thought this looked a little cleaner.  Guess I'm on the hunt for the CC Products version.  Thanks for the help!

A local sheet metal shop could probably fold one up out of stainless or aluminium pretty cheaply. Or with the aid of a vice and some strips of wood it wouldn't be hard to fold one up. Go on line and search  "How to fold sheet metal in a vice". You can then either polish it or paint it.
Regards Martin.

Here's where I bought a version of that cover. You could always lease its surface for advertising space to offset the cost. It's an unadorned basic molding but its holes aligned correctly. cheers

If you read Motorworks specs it states not suitable if RT/LT or RS fairing is fitted. You could always try and prove them wrong.
Regards Martin.

Well done. I hadn't noticed that or AtLarge's bike model. Adding a fancy-pants injector cover to an RS would be gilding the lily. Laughing

Paint the cover red and it won't be any faster.

True however, my RS is naked. Only the front fairing is installed.  Wink
