Due to the 22Lt OEM mounting plates going AWOL we decided to see if a replacement could be made. This was cast by the Trades Guild in aluminium and is the first prototype. This however pretty much how the production ones would appear. The only variation maybe the reducing or elimination of the reinforcements on the underside of the plate. At this stage we are looking to manufacture cam locks on the plate out of brass. A couple of ones were made out of two pieces of steel and silver soldered together. Brass would be easier and quicker.
Regards Martin.
