A mate with the Type 2 panniers wanted to know if the Type 3's were larger. I said that they were but not sure by how much. I tried searching on the Net but I couldn't find any information on them. So does anyone know the LH and RH capacities on the Type 1's the Type 2's and the Type 3's.
Regards Martin.

A slab of coldies with ice fit either Type pannier, when removed from bike and placed on their side, rather well. I'd say they're about equal tho' the Type 3 do have marginally better insulation capabilities and when locked are harder to be picked open by beer bludgers at rallies than their Type 1 brethren...

I have all three Types in the garage and will, when the rain stops, go open them up and pour in packing peanuts of equal measure to see how many fit. I just hate it when the little extruded foam buggers fly across the paddock and I have to go chase them down as they'll be stuck in the barbed wire till, like, the year 2097.

Thanks fellas, TWB don't use salted peanuts as my Doctor says they'll increase your blood pressure. I'm looking forward with excitement to the results, and hoping my blood pressure doesn't rise.
Regards Martin.

Type 1 and 2 are 30 litre, Type 3 are 35 litre.

The pannier half that mounts on the rail of the Type 3 is bigger,
