Hi,

Back to a big road bike, been quite a while since I've owned one. Have owned a 250 trail bike for a while, used for shopping run and short road trip, but have not had a big road bike for 25 years.

Have been involved with bikes however, as my son is an hard enduro racer who competing all over the world for the past 12 years, so the interest in bikes has always been there, although mainly through my sons racing.

My last big road bike was a 1992 BMW K1 (Blue), owned for about 2 years in mid 90's, thats a while ago when I think of it.

Anyway, purchased the K1100RS about 6 months ago from Queensland, bike was imported from Japan  in 2020, condition is pretty good condition for 27 year old bike  and only 40k on the clock. Have replaced oils & filter and yet to register it. Been busy working and building a bike workshop 6m x 6m, so waiting until I've completed the bikeworkshop before registering the bike.

I think the 1100 RS is the best looking brick by a country mile.

You'll be glad you got back onto bikes, enjoy the ride.

Did you get that one from Centerpoint ? i looks like one of the bike i was eyeing off before i got my Black one from them.

Yes, I did, and I was eyeing off the bike you bought, especially the custom tail and shock.
Could have easily ended up owning the bike you bought, which from memory had 33k on it.

I did enter bike and location. 
Must be multiple places its required to be entered.
I'll check again however.

Goto "Profile" tab "Signature" , there you can add info, will appear under every post you do.
