Just joined so better say hello. Been riding Beemers for nearly 50 years now. I have had the K1 from new in 1990. Covered a fair bit of Europe on over the years. Not every bodies cup of tea I know, but its my favourite bike of those I have owned. Also got an R80GS with a Siebenrock 1000cc convertion kit and an R75/6 in original condition. All three were built before the bean counters took the reins at BMW. Also got a 2003 XRV750 Africa Twin, VFR1200X DCT Crosstourer, NC750D Integra DCT. Oh and the SHi125 Scooter are daughter had to fly round London on. Keeping that for when I cant get my leg over. As an engineer I have always done all my own maintenance.
