Hi there and a very good riding year ahead to all,
Sorry .....Now the serious stuff
Went on leave and when returned found oil puddle,
Is there a seal between the oil pump and engine,
I am using Castrol 20w50 high mileage ,will that make it sweat out?
what to do,...please help as I had a flat back tyre yesterday while riding,
Has been fixed thankfully.Cleaned out brake while the wheel was off...
Thanks once again

If the oil is coming from the tell-tale hole beneath the oil/water pump then yeah oil seal gone. The oil seal is beneath the water seal so must be done as a pair. Some good info in Clymer manual and in the 'How to' section of the forum. I just did mine, thread here (more links in it to other threads too)

It helps all to know which model you are referring to (though not so much with a typical water/oil pump seal drip) so it's always a good idea to have the year/model info plopped down at the bottom of your signature so's we can quickly see, since you don't mention it specifically in your request for help.

Cheers, and bummer about the flat too.
