Even though you know the bike is fitted with the outriggers, I bet it took him a couple of goes for him to feel "safe".

The first coupla times I bet there was a bit of butt-puckering! Shocked

See my post in the recent K1 thread. This is what BMW showed us at the 1989 York, PA BMWMOA rally. It was kewl to see it firsthand. The rider would often put a bit of body English (German?) into it and it still wouldn't chuck him off course.
