Hello All,

Thought I would throw out an introduction on the forum since you will all probably be seeing some posts from me since I just bought a 1992 K100RS.

I live in the great state of Montana which offers truly endless riding, albeit a shorter than normal riding season due to our long winters Sad I'm 29, female, and ready to see how many miles I can put on this bad boy this summer Smile

I thank everyone in advance for all the help, suggestions, and advice I know will be getting on this forum!

Welcome to the forum.

Congratulation on the purchase of the rs. You sure will enjoy it during your short riding season. Lots of people from the US are registering lately and you may find some K riding buddies in your area.
Please post a pic of the new baby.

Welcome Schatzi03. I'm sure you'll be delighted with the RS. Lots of help and advice available here from this wonderful institution, run by the inmates Very Happy

Here's a website I found some time ago from another lady Beemer rider, maybe of some interest to you - I certainly enjoyed the travel logs.

Welcome to the forum Schatzi. It's a great steed you have there for eating miles.

In 1997, maybe '98, the BMWMOA national rally was held in Missoula. I was living in New Mexico at the time, selling motorbike filters and long-distance dating a Montana girl from Manhattan (the quiet little town, not the bright lights big city of the same name). We had a week of splendid riding all over the Big Sky state of Montana! One of my favourite roads there (of many) is the slinky windy twisty bit that follows the rapid river up to that way cool skiing field with the massive lift atop the snow-covered peak....and yes, I forget the name of it. It's above Bozeman.

Welcome to the forum.
