Welcome Kenny, when I saw the name I thought Ah there is another one for the Irish excentrics but reading on I see SA. Another wonderful spot on our richly diverse planet.

Welcome Kenny. If you're having difficulty posting photo's you have to signed up for 7 days before you're allowed to if I recall correctly. Anyway this asylum is run by the inmates....good to have you along.

I can't remember where I heard it but it possibly is true that Irelands biggest export is Irishmen and that there have been more people emigrate from Ireland than the current population.

Asylum? This is defined as an obsolete type of institution for housing those deemed "insane".
We recognize to be insane, but this site is not obsolete.
Welcome to our forum and hope that you will enjoy your time with us.
We have few members from ZA here but if you ever feel to expand your horizon, the Irish excentrics are only a fly away.

Excentric:
ex`cen´tric:
1. One-sided; having the normally central portion not in the true center.

2. (of an axis, axle, etc.) not situated in the center.

Eccentric:

`cen´tric
1.
Deviating from the recognized or customary character, practice, etc.; irregular; erratic; peculiar; odd: eccentric conduct; an eccentric person.

Around this joint, I'd say it's about the same. A load of assymetrical camshafts for certain.
