Greetings Redbaron welcome to the forum. From deepest darkest Africa hey what sort of K do you have or have you transplanted a K engine into the triplane to get rid of that pesky dog for good. New member 177912

Hi Redbaron

Maybe you should move out of Jhb and into the lighter side of SA, maybe closer to the sea (see).

Welcome from another African. Laughing

From your neck of the woods comes Frank Jardine and a K rider. He attends a lot of meetings and does a lot of touring.

Just thought ...etc.

Welcome Pal.

Some of you may know that we have the best climate in the World for motorcycling, especially during winter, virtually no rain at all & good roads, not as good as they used to be but pretty good and looooong distances.
E.g. JoBurg to Capetown is about 1500km. Dont ride at night as there are animals on many roads also pedestrians & potholes, the cops are actually the biggest problem by far, corrupt as hell.

Hey Redbaron,

Welcome aboard.

A mate and I once rode from Joburg to the Cape on two non-BMWs but on the way back ran into a spot of bother near Plet. We were staying at his rels and did a daytrip to Knysna. My headlight was u/s and following in his light at night, some Ahole put some rocks on the road and my mate hit them. A long story short he buckled his front wheel, I crapped myself with all the sparks but we got out of it alive. Incidently we were armed, just in case. Uncle Fritz came to the rescue and we threw them in a backie and drove back to Joburg.

Pooh happens.

Cheers, Dave.

Tackler,
consider yourselves lucky, the rocks are there to cause a accident, the idea is to rob the occupants in the vehicle, you guys spoiled the party and bikers can be aggressive.
