that chip looks typical of many of the quad op amps available just about everywhere "lm 324" rings a bell as well as all the tlo74 - 84 series

Pure luck but I great outcome for air flow the MAF sensor fits directly (and very snugly) on the back of the pelum chamber.

Purchased $50 worth of mixed lollies from Jaycar (tandy equiv for os) and I am ready to creat a level translator from 12V to 5V (processors Vdd rail) to 12V throw to the Ljet, looked at the AFM original and still sends temp to board so that sensor will move to MAF

all I did to set up both for calibration was to epoxy both together for now

Writing of processor code is being handled by one of my works software (firmware) guys for now (lucky me , he is working this weekend on for me , sensor mapping software first !!

Both sensors installed in series ready for calbration mapping (just need firmware now) oh and an op amp circuit

Built the level translation circuit to convert the 12V to 5V for my Halo Magic Box then the circuit from 5V to 12V for the processor to drive the Ljet (it's just a non inverting output out amp circuit X 2 one to divide by 2 and abit one to multiply by 2 and abit they both share the same die so thermally matched to a degree. No protecton circuit yet for inputs but really it is a clean signal.



Ready for mapping software !!!!!

Will your translation unit be able translate all of the technological stuff into real English?

AJAY WOW , taken all the readings (the MAF sensor is on the back of the chamber in line) I need to for now looking like a simple 0-5V output on the MAF that I have, ideal for the 0-5V resolution on the processors analogue input, with software averaging should get a clean signal else I will create active filter etc but all good so far.
The software dude is date and time stamping files to the ardunio dev systems SD card. Ready for riding calibration results from live mapping once I get my first cut of software !.

Not a problem.... I thought that it would have been a well documented circuit as it was used on various engines, not that all the features were used by all mind.

Yes very popular but also very secretive.
I just purchased the next part of the puzzle, tipping closed loop response feeding back into the new processor that feeds the L-Jet I am building. Then I can have a closed loop LE Jetronic tuned for performance able to modify it's output on the fly.
It can be used as a stand alone tester with data logger built in with a LED display as well (very cool really).

Hey Charlie hows this for an idea, great documentation on the site that sells the Wide Band O2 sensor and controller I just purchased on Ebay (god I love this guff I'm getting my geeky engineering jollys off), we could send around the traps for the members to use. Have a machine shop at work to create etc.

A doctor an engineer and a priest where playing golf and were held up by the golfers in front of them.
The doctors says to the golf caddy "whats the hold up", to which the caddy replies " thats the blind fire fighters, they play once a month, they saved the golf club from burning down last year however they were blinded by the fire. Fantastic info on the O2 systems web site, the sensor is required to be in, not too & and too cold, very different to narrow band sensors , can't handle the heat as much as well but can't have back pressure if too aft as readings will be distorted mmm position position

I have fitted the K1100 throttle bodies and decided to keep the TPS sensor off the K1100 TB's. All I did was to modify the circuit to switch a contact to look like the WOT closed position on the old K100 switch set. In my mind this is a easier change as purely electronic rather than a mechanical mod like others have done.
(Just made it out of a non inverting comparitor with a transistor on the output, that switches at a predetermined voltage from the TPS substrate potentiometer at the eqiv WOT position of the old senser , will tune and add hysteresis next ).

Soda blasted the K1100 TB's (but not a real Halo effort as just for the K100 86 hack)

Found that I had to increase the throw for the Cold start linkage as didn't reach the sensor in the off position.










Great MAP pickup point on the TB's for the K 1100, I am going to create my own EFI for this bike
and want to use this port for a MAP sensor as well as the MAF sensor
