Remember my bikes being sold off because of the family decision.
Horse or not I bought for £720 a k100rs in need of care.
Well the tank is about done.
I had one frightening problem...After a few longish runs [two] I parked up in the garage. Next morning I dressed up ready to go again and it was as dead as a dodo. As you know the earlier models had the tank electrics plugged directly into the tank. Fuses checked, pump listening, next this bloody plug had dropped out. Must have been when I put it on the centre stand. No wonder they altered this design. I have made sure it will not do that again.

Looking good Ajays. That tank was a mess when you got it - must have been a satisfying job cleaning it up to reveal some pretty smart paintwork underneath.

In fact during my search I have been approached to sell it to "Classic Bikes"...!



The one they have is Vin 4470 mine is Vin 4466.



I daren't tell the previous owners who had covered it with white paint.

I am toying with the idea. their reserve is £2700.
It may mean a divorce or another Horse..!
All I keep getting is, You're coming up to 85 and about time ..etc...etc.Sad. I have got 4 days left to think about it.
