Hi Guys

I read the previous post at: https://www.k100-forum.com/t69-rubber-engine-mounting?highlight=mounting about engine mountings. I recently cleaned and resprayed my frame. Ordered new mountings.

I did not take proper note of the right direction of installing the mountings. Rounded side on the inside or outside. I assumed outside and then tried to use a press made from sockets and a front break disk bolt to force the mountings in, using dishwashing liquid as a lubricant and heating the mountings in hot water to make the softer.

The mountings did not pop in at all, rubber kept on compressing until it was damaged. The part number is correct according to realoem and the part almost matches the ones removed. I need to order another pair, but really need advice on how to install them.
