Hi there ,
Have not been riding much ,waiting for parts from Germany.

I would like to know what would be the recommended way of flushing the radiator without having to remove it,I have to replace the seals on the pump assembly anyway,so while I'm about it........why not?

Also what coolant to use,add to water

I just use a gardenhose with a rubber sink plug to fit the outlet of the radiator and make a small hole in the plug so compressed air can be fed in . Fill the radiator from the outlet side and then hit it with compressed air so it blows out quickly and takes any junk with it.
If a good coolant has always been used then you probably don't need to flush.
As for what coolant I use the NULON brand green glycol and mix 50/50.

When you mix 50/50 use distilled water. try to get as much of the garden hose water out of the system as possible.
I concur with the previous post. Unless you have an abnormal contamination situation, a drain & refill should be sufficient, hence not introducing tap water into the system at all.

Totally agree with getting all that gross town water out but my water is direct from the sky and into a tank.

Concentrated chemtrails it is they will rot the radiator out quick as a flash but I have a thermoglycotichyperescalator to remove and neutralise the active component in the rain water. Dosen't seem to do much but the salesman said it was working real well as there was no sign of it when he tested it.
