Just something i came across this week that has helped me.
I had an uprated earth kit fitted a few months back and some RAM ht leads which seemed to help torque.
Starting always needed lots of choke to idle unaided+ there are black deposits near the exhaust.
I checked the coil earthing terminals at the coil end yesterday- they seemed very oxidised- after a good clean up the bike now starts and idles WITHOUT choke!!
Thing is, why didnt my mechanic spot this when fitting the new earthing kit.

Good point but sometimes mechanics are very pushed for time as are many others and they don't see the obvious.
