Since we have a thread up about a get together 1-8th August it seems to be better to have a separate one for the Saturday meet up on 8th August. Last 3 years we have met at Stradbally Fayre, breakfast for 9.30am and then head off wherever has been planned. 2012 was the first time the Eccentrics met up so its a bit of an anniversary.
This year might be an opportunity to try a run 88KE and myself did last year, taking in a run towards Clonmel, Cashel, Cahir, the Vee and possibly adding in Glen of Aherlow loop between Cashel and Cahir or Mitchelstown Cave, Lismore. Comberjohn's weather stone seems to be in fine fettle for such outings.
Becky will be with us for a week, leaving afternoon ferry on Saturday 8th so is likely to be along for breakfast and then head to ferry from Dublin. Born Again Eccentric will also be with us for a week, leaving early morning on 9th from Rosslare.
It looks like a few of us will be camped, probably at Nore Valley as it gives us good access to Stradbally and both ferry ports and an opportunity for a get together on the Saturday night for the hardy Kampers.
If anyone wants to make a camping weekend of it we are aiming for Nore Valley for the Friday night as well. Will be Becky's last night with us so a bbq is on the cards. The deer at Nore Valley are not for eating so probably some rib eyes.
