I’m looking to get an R1 complete front end for my K100. What year should I go for and what mods to I have to do to make them fit? Thanks in advance

This is a good example of the venture into the custom bike building world. Not to be taken lightly, and there is no easy answer. No one builds a 'kit'.

You will need to determine a whole heap of things, like the values of rake & trail so as not to upset or otherwise over-enhance the basic handling of the motorbike, correct outer bearing diametre & steering stem length, fork height, and then whether the stock handlebar master cylinder has the correct ratio for the Yamaha's four piston calipers, unless you plan to utilise the Yammie's OEM bits, but how to integrate the switchgear seemlessly?!

WelKome to the Knuthaus!
