Eight years now into K75 ownership, burned out by an online user group of that designation, this forum happily suggested to me on a ride to the BMW Centennial Rally at Laguna Seca.
Been riding boxer twins since 1964, crossed USA on my R50 in a westward attitude in 1965.  Have remained in Californy ever since.
Have done more hands-on work on my K75 than all four of my boxer twins combined.
Who woulda thunk?

Welcome from the Emerald Isle too.

You have come to the right place and everyone is very welcoming. Lost of nice stories and banter but also excellent technical knowledge and everyone willing to share.

Some of us get to meet up too!!!

Olaf

Welcome Dave, I'm a long-time boxer (airhead) rider too.  My first K is my present one, a 1985 K100RS.  I'm still coming to terms with how heavy it is.  But, out on the empty highways here in Idaho and the neighboring states, it really comes into its own.  Not much fun in town however.
