Hi all, another new kiwi to join forum. I,m from Taranaki and just brought an 88 K100rt for project/fun. Has had fairings removed and a small screen fitted to look like a basic K100. Been out of biking for 8 years so looking forward to hitting the road again. Interested in  reading the forums and learning more about the bike.

Does that refer to you or the K?

Welcome too from up here. You will find everyone very helpful and willing to help. If you get a chance check out he home page and look at the section of what to do if you have just bought a K. Any problems post them up, someone will have met them before and for most things there are some easy fixes. Ks are very reliable bikes too.

Lots of good banter and fun too, so you might end up meeting a dew other K owners down your way.

Welcome sparrownz, Great to see more K Iwis about on their mounts, not Mt Taranaki / Egmont - whatever, this time. It would be great getting a few Ks up Dawson falls or Stratford mountain house one weekend. the camphouse on North Egmont is classic, like the Ks.

And note too there seems to be rising trend of those from southern hemisphere making their way up here. Looks like us Eccentrics are hosting 2 visits, March [Bill] and May [TacKler]. Any more takers are most welcome....

Ty to the team at k100 forum. Ive used this many a time to diagnose and repair my bike. I'm now selling the old girl and have replaced it with a BMW R1100S. Looking forward to new rides and wish all well. Hope i can find a forum group for the new bike.  Cheers Sparrownz.

shame to see you changing your ride Steve , just as the Kiwi Klub is growing in numbers . 
Keep an eye on the Australian and NZ ride section during late 2017 , there are plans to follow up on Rick's invite to visit your wonderful island scenery and those who inhabit it .
I've just booked my holidays for the last week of November 2017, to coincide with the Burt Munro weekend . Mt Taranaki sounds like a top spot for a krew gathering as well.
