Treated myself to some of the above today for the first time. Have always used Jizer which by coincidence is the same colour pink. Now Jizer and brakes don't seem to get along together in my experience so Goggled to find other peoples experiences and received mixed messages. Can anyone enlighten me as to its suitability?

Can't speak to the other stuff, but the S100 motorcycle cleaner I've been using for the past 15 years has never disappointed me.

In the US (maybe elsewhere too) we have a product named Goof Off.  It's a solvent that does a good job of breaking down adhesives without damaging paint.  Very useful for getting rid of leftover adhesive when replacing gas tank roundels.

For general cleaning Simple Green works well for me. Great for wheels cuts oil and grease. It is all so environmentally friendly or at least says so on the label

Muc Off has never given me any trouble. There's approx 6 litres of it in the garage now. Just don't apply in bright sunlight (as it says) because it evaporates quicker than you'd think, leaving a bit of a residue behind. Having to start again is more annoying than the residue.

Use it this evening and and was surprised how well it cleaned especially the crud around the centre stand and no effect on the brakes afterwards.
