A Christmas funny.   santa

Whilst out "cageing" around town this morning I took the off ramp near home as per normal.  There was a wagon in front of me which blocked the view a bit and I thought it odd that he was slowing more than expected to take the corner onto the side road.  Then off to the side in front a hardley tractor was "negotiating" the corner, as they do which was why the wagon in front was slowing excessively.

Fair enough I thought but what is that doormat doormat thingy hanging off the bottom of his fairing?  It does look odd indeed.  Perhaps that is why he is going excessively slow when combined with the lack of ground clearance.

So moving along we came to a roundabout which had a larger circumference than the previous corner.  So I watched the tractor thingy do his cornering at a slightly faster speed.

Hold on?  Are those tassels hanging off the bottom of the fairing or is it a broom?   scratch

Oh, how I laughed out loud as the tractor was "sweeping" the corners each time he went round that one and the next.

When I was home in OZ I noticed that the rugged individualists who ride Hardlies were wearing the very same garb as their North American counterparts, right down to the tough stickers on their arms. Their German cohorts do the same from my experience there. Them RI know what the uniform is.

When I grow up and get old I want a chain drive wallet, too.

Every time I see them I immediately think of the Life of Brian and the sandal on a stick scene.
