The other night when I was finishing up the fuel pump job I was giggling wires to see what happened and the bike died . It was when I played with those wires from under the tank . I moved them around some and all was well again. This has always been a problem but only when I was stopped.Today while out on the interstate doing a 75 mile test ride to see if the blowing fuse problem has been solved  the bike quit at 70mph .I pulled off the road and was going to look at the fuses thinking that the pump fuse blew when I hit the starter and it started. So the 4 pin connection needs attention.I an wondering if I can just use 4 individual plug in connectors rather than this 4 pin thing . Has anyone done this?

I replaced mine as soon as it started to play up with a waterproof connector from a local electronics store. I've never had a problem with it since.
Regards Martin.

I replaced mine in Dec 2017. See http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?board=8.0 As an added barrier I smeared silicone grease on the joints.
Regards Martin.

Thanks again Martin I'll do as you did. I have it running good now so things like this are only going to make it better.I want to get it to the point where I can go on a long journey out west for a few months and not have any problems. I've got a year to do this and have it all tested so I'm confidant in it.

Every K I have owned I have replaced that plug due to connectivity problems like you describe.
