A not too bright farmer boy went to town to buy a pair of wellies.
He tried them on and the assistant asked if they fit .
Oh yes, they fit just fine and off he went back to the farm.

A week later he returned with them and the assistant, somewhat surprised, asked if they were OK.
Oh they fit fine and are comfortable but could he please have a longer piece of string.......!

I reckon it is the thermos flask....you put hot fluid in it and it remains hot...you put cold fluid in it and it remains cold.....
