My name is Barry(Bazza) I live on a small farm in Ellendale Tasmania (the South Island of Australia Cool) we grow fruit, mostly Raspberries but we also grow Potatoes, apples, pears, cherries and nectarines, it's only a small scale farm, we rely mostly on our local community all 250 of them Very Happy
I have an 02/1984 build K100RS, it's my 3rd K100 and my second K100RS, my first was a standard K100 which I purchased way back in 1986 direct from the factory in Germany and toured around Europe the UK and Ireland for 6 months.

I have a few bikes, including a 1994 XT225, 1980 Honda CB900F Bol D'or, 2007 R1200GS and a 1973 H2-A Kawasaki 750 Triple, the daughter also rides a 2011 F650GS(800 twin)

Brissie is great, North Lakes better except for a  Geebungian banana bender. We had a great holiday in the Apple Isle pre Covid.

Hello all 44271 Hello all 44271 Tassie is the same, along with lots of QLDers too, we have 5 families from QLD in Ellendale, one couple run the Post Office, half the town are from the mainland.

I originally grew up in Moree Nth West NSW Wink

Thanks everyone for the welcome, hope I can contribute something, laptop died last night and our main computer is the daughters work computer so I'll be hit and miss for a few days.

We are planting Apple, Plums, salad, onions and other food in the small garden.

Thanks mate veggie garden looks outstanding, just replanting our veggie patch at the moment, cabbage, carrots, spring onions, spinach, tomatoes and a few others, potatoes are in the back paddock, we are on 12.7 hectares(30 acres there abouts)

I loved Germany when I was there, good food, scenery, people, beer, roads, beer.

We could trade Vegetables and my farmer has meat.

For Australia  our farm is small, listed as a hobby farm, most of the farms around us are 100 plus hectares.
