Good morning all, I am a retired aircraft engineer, I have been a motorcyclist off and on for the last35 years. I have owned several B.M.Wsmainly air cooled Boxers, my last one an R 100RT I passed on to my son. I currently have, and have owned it for a number of years, a K1100LTSE L reg ( 1992). It is currently SORNED ( off road )I have to resolve a few problems as it has not been ridden much over the last few years , what with moving house and Pandemic etc. I have a major problem in that the wiring to the ignition switch is going open circuit and so when the handle bar moves the electrics totally disconnect. So I hope I can get a bit advice from others who may have had this problem , also by using this forum I may be able to assist other members with other problems I have encountered and resolved.
