Hi this 1986 K100RT I have just found is a white colour with like a pearl finish. Will this be the original colour? Does any member have a paint code for it and advice where to get paint from in the UK please?
If not the original paint what colours would this model/ year been sold in and do you have codes for those colours please?

What does the paint code sticker under the seat says?

The paint code is really only relevant for a total repaint to as new, if you are matching up part of the bike with new paint to the rest with old paint they will match what is on the bike now rather than what was on the bike new since some colours change quite a lot if they have had the sun on them off and on for 20+ years. As above the paint code is usually under the seat.

The answer above is the most logical re paint fade.
Take a piece along to Halfords and get a can match there.
That's the way I solved mine when I went from low seat to high. Side panels.
