Hi Guys,
I am considering making some K100,s available for rent next year here in England with very few restrictions on where to go or how far.
Italy is two days from here, Istanbul a week, baltic states only a couple of days.
Would this be a service you would consider using if you were over here and fancied a bit of a tour round?
Prices would not be eye watering!
please let me know your views as i am just trying to judge the market at the minute.

Better have a spare BMU for when your clients rings from upper outer Uzbekistan asking, "What's that big red triangular eyeball staring at me from the middle of the instrument cluster?"

These things are solid. I describe them to be "as reliable as a fridge but not as cool."

Now there's a plan if ever I heard one. Not so sure of your business in the winter months tho'.... plug in undergear??

Sounds like a plan to me having lived in the UK and ridden there for years that would be great to be able to go back to visit and ride again but on a K!

thank you all for your comments- encouraging , so much so i have got the first two. one Lt and one RS. both are 1100,s and are in the process of having spanners laid upon them. will keep you up to speed as we go on.
As for winter rental i think that would be a bit too specialist so was thinking of taking it easy and just fettling the machines for the next year, but if you wanted to go to the elephant rally in germany i would not stop you.

That's a holiday I'd like to have. I lived and rode in the UK in '99/'00 (up at midnight in rural Devon with a Norwegian family waiting for Y2K's impending doom and drinking some clear spirits that had most of us under the table) and would love to ride round there again. Please do let us know how you get on with this excellent project. I'll bet they'll be booked solid for next year's Isle of Man TT!
