I sold my spare car last fall and got my license. I've always wanted Gold Wing. Picked up a nice used one but found it to be a bit too heavy for me. I have OA in my hips and knees. My buddy was selling a 91 K 100RS. 270lbs lighter then the wing. I picked it up today. Dropped it off for service and new tires. I can't wait to get it out on the road.

Bob,
Nothing wrong with a Goldwing... This is just another type of ride.
Some people like a luxury Cadillac and others prefer a smart car. Between these 2 extremes, there is something that may better fit your driving or riding style.
The big advantage of picking up a K bike is its reliability and ease to ride.
Even if these bikes were so advanced when they were first introduced, the newer bikes provide better security and handling features. However, few of them can offer a golden track record as the K100.
Hope you will enjoy your new bike and this community.

Cheers,

Bert

Hi Bob,
Will be interesting to hear your comments once up and running between the K and Wing. I have never ridden a wing and considered it my dream bike , that is until I put my bum on the K.

Hi Bob,
I used to have a Wing, great bike but I think I prefer the K nowadays. Great to have you on board.

my GW is the same weight as my K100RS !... Laughing The solution is 1976 GW without all the fiberglass and K100Rs Smile that way you can have it all. Welcome BigBob.
