After a recent repair on my 10/83 K a grommet holding the side panel decided that it no longer wanted to be part of a legend and departed. I got hold of some other grommets, but they seem to be too thick or thin or whatever. Can anyone point me in the right direction where I can get new grommets?

Check Moto-bins, Motorworks and Sherlocks (all UK based) as well.

Prices are cheaper even posted from the UK compared to Munich Motorcycles. But they can take a week or so to get to my door.

Thanks very much so far. I have tried Clarks Rubber, but just not the right size.

Try using a round Head screw(metal), works perfectly for me.

Now that explains why I have clear plastic tubing on the the rods. I assumed that the previous owner had put it there to prevent paint rub. He had put rubber strips between the fuel tank and adjacent panels so as to decrease rubbing over rough roads. We learn a little more about the K.
