Hi Folks, just a quick introduction as i am new to this forum and BMW bikes. It looks like there is a lot of information about K bikes on here so bear with me if i ask too many stupid questions. I got my RT back in August 2011 and at first i really thought i had made a big mistake. Now though i love it.

Welcome Shaun, yep the K bikes grow on you.. I got mine on the road about July last and the more I've tidied it up and ridden it the more I realise It will be a keeper.

I have asked almost all of them and still haven't been blacklisted.
That's a fine bike you have there. Looking out my window right now I can see mine, up on a lifting table, back wheel off, shockie dangling, swingarm on another table, disc brake rotor lying mournfully on the floor, and the gentle, reassuring slow drip of coolant from the clear hose on the reservoir.
