Just bought my first Bike in 15 odd years a 1988 k100 ,Always wanted a bmw however kids, wife money always seemed to not happen at the right times.Amazing that after getting on this bike after so long i felt immediatly comfortable with it,was worried about the vibration at 3500 rpm,but have learn't that this is mostly normal. I did have a 3 cylinder kawasaki 500 2 stroke for a short time now that is vibration Laughing. This seems like a great forum for us learner bmw riders to get to know thier bikes,Hope i can contribute in some way.

Welcome to the forum Lewy.
A lot of us stopped riding for about 15 years.
We know the feeling to get a bike after all this time. Enjoy every minute of your riding time, ... and this forum too.
