I have never been to the Alpine Rally and would very much to do it but this year is right out of the question.

The site you linked to Sean is for the 2009 rally and I can't find any reference to it on the MCC of NSW website. The only one in that reigeon is the snowy ride in November.

I'd say of course it will be on. Henning is a personal friend who has run the rally since taking it over from Paul Giles the original organiser. With referring to anything I can tell you it will be on 7-11 June (Queens birthday long weekend) at Yarrangobilly homestead on the Snowy Mountains Hwy (because it was Brindabella last year and they mostly run turn about) that means no dirt unless you take some detours. The site has toilets, water is from the river, no catering of any sort so its BYO everything. Rally badges are sold on Sunday morning only.
I'm pretty sure Henning is currently in Thailand working so might not answer any queries quickly.
