Good morning ALL,

I have a small problem, with my LT's instrument cluster, the Red Monitoring lamp - If I pull the front and press the back brakes, the lamp goes out, but as soon as I rev the throttle slightly it comes back on, once riding along I have to touch either of the brakes and it extinguishes but then comes back on? The Foot brake switch and the front brake switch both extinguish this lamp, and bring up the rear brake light,so they seem to be operating ok?
Guys, have you experienced this and do you have a solution?

Kind Regards.

Is your tail light bulb OK? It is monitored by the bulb monitoring unit.
Remove the bulb and clean the socket. If you have a spare bulb, replace it.

+1 for what Crazy Frog said. Sometimes it can be traced to a failing (but still working) stop lamp.

As a suggestion, it helps us help you if you add your model and year of your bike to your signature.
