Hello from Texas!! Thanks for the add to the group! I am a newby to the BMW K series bikes. Hell this is my first real street bike. Everything else I've owned has been Dirt bikes and couple E-Bikes (E- moto?) besides the point. I purchased a 1985 K100RS from Facebook Market place for a fair price(Not running). Got some items with the bike Fuel tank, New fuel pump & filter kit, New Tires, Etc. But missing quite a bit! I am a auto Technician and know cars pretty well! Specially Euro/Import, so when I researched this bike I got very intrigued by its design. I took on the challenge and bought the bike not knowing a single thing about it or how it works. I have now got it running this past weekend with some simple parts and a little patience! This bike has been a blast to diagnose and I'm extremely excited to continue my project and share my experience. I still need some Key parts ( Fuel tank, Rear Set, Throttle, Brakes LOL )

I plan to do a lot of custom wiring and doing a harness tuck. So I wanna do a full write up with everything I used. I see a lot of the stuff in the electrical box doesn't need to be there and I haven't seen anyone build a custom fuse box. So be on the look out for that in the coming months!
