Translating with B ing works fine though, for there is anIrish chap who's a member also, and he understands nearly everything. Interuption, not at all welcome to the forum. We speak english here well except for the Americans they seem to have their own language based on the english spoken by those aboard the Mayflower. 

As opposed to a country that was founded as a penal colony. 

British convicts were also sent to Virginia and Marylands befort the revolutionary war and were only sent here because they couldnt send them to US any more so there you were founded as a penal colony before Australia was even discovered by Captain James Cook.  
By the way on the websters dictionary it says "A dictionary of the American Language"

If you ever want to really hear English get butchered then talk to a Scot.  I once stopped while riding in Nova Scotia (in an area populated mostly by people of Scottish descent) to ask for directions. They understood my question but I had no clue what a single word of their supposedly English answer was.

No offence taken, Knickers in a knot is the Aussie equivilant. I dont have much trouble with even a broad Scots accent probably because most of my family was from there but the Belfast irish is the one that totaly confuses me. but my wifes father was Irish and she has trouble the other way round.
I had a look through the different versions of English that is in microsofts Word dictionary and there were 18 versions of what is esentially the same language.
