I saw a complete idiot tonight. Dressed only shorts, No shirt and NO shoes, riding a sports bike.

I guess he'll soon learn when he looses his foot in an accident.

A friend used to call people that rode like this squids. It was a reference to the sound they would make and how they would look when they came off the bike at speed. He used to say "imagine throwing a squid out of your car window at 60mph".

I take much the same attitude but have had to twice help in the immediate aftermath of a crash when both riders have been very under protected and I have been very temped to say well you know what happens but didn't wear the gear so stop moaning.
