Hi Everyone, I've been quite active on motobrick.com, figured I'd get on here too.

I'm a recent graduate from UC Berkeley, I studied Public Health with an eye on Medical School in a couple years. I considered doing Mechanical Engineering, but relegated this to a hobby due to my interest in medicine.

I've worked on the Berkeley formula SAE racing team as a machinist, which was quite interesting.

I have done extensive mechanical work on my bikes, up to full rebuilds. My current persistent project is perfecting the installation of a microsquirt module fuel injection system on my K75. I will be adding ignition control with the microsquirt this summer. This project is extensively written up on motobrick.com, and I'd be happy to give more details or help if anyone is interested.

Writeup: http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?topic=936.0

My other project has been developing an weather resistant, motorcycle optimized implementation of the MPGuino open source fuel mileage computer for BMW K's. It's functions are similar to a Fuel+. I'll post more details in the vendor's forum, as I have them for sale.

Development: http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?topic=2296.0
Final: http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?topic=2997

Welcome to the forum Max it's good to see you here. Good to see you are still working on those fuel computers. I am still tweaking mine to suit the 1100 as I change things to suit me.

Berkeley's kind of an odd place to be from but, hey, at least you're not Australian.  You've got  that going for you.

(hides)

Welcome.....

Welcome Max.  I too can report your computer continues to serve admirably on my K100RS.  Thanks for developing and making available that computer.  It's a winner.

Nothing wrong with stralia duck. Unless you live in Victoria where they shoot first and ask questions later, I think the latest incident was a non male occifer shot someone after pulling the gun out instead of the taser.

Damn quoted my adopted country wrong. It's "Straylia"

Welcome Max.  Glad to see that you've taken the plunge.  Many great, helpful members on this forum and it has a different flavour from Motobrick with all the Australians and Canadians.
