One of our Aussie members came to this part of France so I mounted the GoPro on the back of my bike and let him and the wife follow me. Enjoy.

Top video. Thanks BB

Yes is is Tackler. He is on a hired K75. My wife is on her F800ST and she is at the back for two reasons: First we have bike to bike intercoms so we can't lose Tackler. Second because she had a very loud exhaust as a present the day Tackler arrived and we did not want to hear it!

Rick, I promise you that Dave has pictures of everywhere! I took him to the Roman town of Vesunna (http://www.tourisme-aquitaine.fr/en/sX_video_detail.asp?id=26) and everything was duly photographed. That video shows just a bit of the hours of video that I took, we stopped in many places for a photo shoot. I would love to upload more to youtube, but it was shot in 720 HD and my internet connection is not very quick. I had to go to the Marjolaine (cafe) to upload this one and it still took over an hour, but saved me 3 hours at my house.

Is that really me?

Just up in the Vosges hills/Alsace region at the moment.  I was rained on during the ride home from the other side of hills.  A wee bike problem but we will talk about that later.

Lots if piccies.  If there is any interest I may post some.

Should be home Tuesday morning Aussie time.

Cheerio, TacKleur.

For GroverK: The mount pictures don't come out well as they were taken in the garage.

Ride out in France Fronts
This is the front mount with the camera selected on "normal" record.

Ride out in France Backs
This is the rear mount with the camera set on upside down record (this may be right way up in Australia!)
The front mount gives more vibration than the rear.
All the videos on this day were taken in 720p 50fps and dropped to 29 fps for youtube.
On some of the editing I used the zoom within the software to show the following bikes as a bit closer, the downside is that you lose some of the side views.
In future all videos will be taken in 1080p as I have upgraded the main computer to an 8 core CPU and it now renders them quite fast. Only the internet connection to slow me down now.

Ride out in France DSCF0712s

I took this picture to show the different sizes of a French (mine of the right) against a German numberplate. If I had a few spare German ones I could re-roof my shed with them!  Shocked

Sitting in waiting for their phone call at this moment. I have had a text message from an Irish mobile, but my wifes phone cannot seem to reply. They will turn up, people in the village are used to stray bikers asking for me.  Rolling Eyes

The Irish bikes have now departed after a good meal at Bruno's place (I hope that Crazy Frog and Tackler still remember eating there), and Bruno has duly stuck an Irish BMW badge to his front door.
We took the time to let the whole village know who was eating at their local cafe:

Ride out in France DSCF4605aE

The banner was duly signed on the back and sent off with the Paddies - have a good trip back guys.

Yes, I do remember Bruno's café.

The ride in the video is from Domme to La Roque Gageac,  on the D703 if memory serves me correctly.  It was a lovely day for a ride.

Arrived home after about 25 hours of travel and the jetlag is slowly letting me know that I am home.  So a couple more days to get back on my feet after a busy and hectic holiday.

 Sleep (Yawn), Tackleur.
