Hi Grant welcome to the forum. You will need ti divest yourself of that Honda. BMWs are not solitary creatures and they wont interbreed you know so you need at least one more. greetings from capetown 177912

Hey Grant,

Funny how we always talk of being up "under the mountain" when it comes to TM.

How long have you had the RS?

I will be out there from Perth in September for three weeks. Hopefully not too much of the "black South Easter" by then!

Rawdon

Hi Grant

Welcome too and no doubt you have some lovely rides there. Glad to see I have the potential for another 16 years on the K. I think the Ks outlive their owners but they do need a mate and are inclined to breed. Sooner or later you will have another one. . . . .

A few more Ks down your way too. Safe riding and enjoy it.

Welcome Grant,

Even cave dwellers need K bikes, just make sure she doesn't spend too much time on the side stand or you'll smoke the cave out.

Good to hear that the K bikes, like their riders go one for ever.

Hi Grant. I lived in CTN from 1993-2003 (Hout Bay) and loved it. What a fantastic city and surrounding area. Great country for biking and, unlike me, you get great weather too...

Hi Grant,

Wonder if your side of the Indian ocean has been drier than ours of late. Plenty of rain this side. I was lucky to be able to get in two test rides yesterday. Both '85 model Ks. A K75C with around 100,000km and a very nice K100RS with 225,000km. Poor Sally cannot understand why, with 3 off Ks in the family already, I must be looking at more? Makes me wish I had 3 sons and 1 daughter instead of the other way around! I have even been pushed to the point of talking to my one daughters ex boy-friend to see if I can't interest him in one of these bikes in order to have it semi 'in the family'.

I got the ex Cessnock K100RT (bought for my son) as far as Sydney at the end of my last 3 weeks of work in Qld. Next stop Melbourne in the first week of July - hopefully then to Adlelaide at least by the time we come out to Cape town in September.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Lets both take the plunge and see if we are up to discovering how to put the odd photo up on here?

Rawdon
