Tonight I found the way to justify the ownership of the sidecar (My wife always says:"why do you need THAT THING")

She wanted a 8' Christmas tree, and I didn't want to get the seats of the car full of sap...
The solution, remove the seat on the sidecar and use it as a truck...
Believe me, I got a lot of thumb's up and smiles from other drivers on the road.

That's the idea for next year!!

Then dress up in a santa suit and ring the local TV news.

If the weather is still good, I am thinking about that for this year.

What I originally wanted was a little air freshener tree for the sidecar 
but as a K100 rider I deserve the best and went for the full size tree.
I am already running most of her errands.... I take the bike to go to get milk and it takes me 3 hours to come back home. 

we like to do things a little differently after all ......yes he has the pox ...

just affects us all in different ways

Not everybody like my sense of humor.

2 days ago we got 150mm of rain and the parking lot of our office was flooded (The place is called Shannon Park). The drains are plugged with all kind of debris and nobody clean them.
In stead of complaining, I just made this picture and sent it to the maintenance people. I believe that the message was understood.

A friend had his wife saying to him why do you need 3 bikes anyway you can only ride one at a time Blah Blah Blah

So seeing as she rides dressage on horses he took her up the back yard to the stables and asked her to count the five horses and make sure they were all there and then come back down to the house and continue the conversation and she didn't wish to discuss it any more. Now when he pays the registration on each bike he works it out in hay bales and tells her how much.

When you don't drive a car you end up carrying the strangest things on a motorcycle. Two things that come to my mind in my past life are a stripped-down but almost complete KLR650 (no wheels, IIRC) and nine ten-foot lengths of 2"x1" planed timber. The latter were bungeed fore-and-aft on the tops of the crashbars, four on one side and five on the other. I could still get my feet down (just) and there was no interference with any of the controls. I was all fired up to argue with Mr.Plod but none appeared on that trip.

The long-suffering bike was my Guzzi V1000G5 in both cases.

Then there was all my diving kit, bottle included and of course, anything we found/caught on that dive. One Wednesday night I pulled up two good-sized edible crabs and for lack of anywhere else to carry them, put them in the right-hand (K2!) pannier. From the dive I went to my best friend's house for the our usual Wednesday night bike-build and jaw-ache. After a few minutes my friend drew my attention to my Guzzi which was parked just outside his front window. Every time someone walked past they would stop and look at the bike, which was a bit odd because it spent much of its cosmetic life hidden under a layer of dirt. Finally we went and took a look ourselves.

It wasn't the visual appearance of the bike at all that was stopping the passersby; it was the very strange tickerty-tickerty-tickerty noises coming from the pannier where the crabs were holding sprint races inside.

Man you need to embrace progress and get a car, so much more efficient. You could probably do it in 10 minutes by car. Would leave you a lot more time for household chores.

....only yesterday, my daughter was asking me what I wanted for Christmas. 

Today I told her "a new wallet and a single ticket to Ireland".....but I'm still trying to work out how I'd get both these scammers on the back of my K with me and wondering where to put the clothes, if I have already filled the panniers with groceries!!

May I direct you to the section on the forum about adding a sidecar to a K?

On a more serious note, if they are not afraid of travelling pillion you could come over with one and have the other fly over...or come over on bike and bring a fellow Eccentric to meet up at airport.....or fly over and they take bus down to Kilkenny nor wherever we are.
