Hi everyone,


as it turned out to be no work, no wife and no kids around next weekend, I am open to offers as where to go. Olaf suggested a breakfast at the Motorcycle Grill, Leap - we can even do that by including the most Southern part of the WAW into it from Bridge View, Kinsale, over to Timoleague, Clonakilty and Leap. If weather is fine and no time restrictions, a return via Kerry is an option too.

But anything considered, really, Copper Coast West Waterford, up to Lismore and over the Vee to Cahir was another idea. Any takers?

Hmmm.
Was thinking of heading down the west coast for the weekend next week to get a few photo rally points but could head further south instead.
Saturday or Sunday for a meet up?
Had planned on getting away on the Friday but I have some ejit doing the test on the Friday afternoon so was thinking of early Saturday. Don't think I could make Leap for breakfast though.
I can bring weather.sunny

I don't know which photo rally points John has in mind.... Olaf and Will are coming home today so we'll see if there's any more up for it.

John, I have to be back to Cork for the afternoon but quite willing to ride out early in the morning and meet you somewhere en route i.e. Monasterevin.

Well if we make it Sunday I'll have all day then so it might be a better idea altogether. Open to any suggestions though re route or timing

On the other hand if you want to come down Saturday I can provide B&B - house is deserted. Offer open to anyone else from far away Smile  Loose dog hair is inevitable though...

Been doing a few calculations.
It looks like it would be a long drive down the motorway on the Saturday and back up the Sunday. Don't think I would have that much time for the photo rally plus would be knackered on the Monday.
If I could have got away on the Friday it would have been more feasible.
Maybe some other time when I have a bit more of it.
Might just head over to the west coast.

Day and area proposed? I wouldn't mind Galway-Mayo myself but can only do it Sunday.

Just trying to find somewhere nice (and cheap!) to stay on the Saturday night.
A Sunday meet up could be good.
Is there no one else?
We're looking at partly cloudy with a high of 18C for the area. That's high summer for here!

Surprisingly quiet here for high summer.... Well, let's settle it then - wherever you find a place just let me know and I will see to my Saturday schedule - may go up Saturday night or early Sunday. If it's Donegal you have in mind though, I may not be able to make it by breakfast time Smile  I probably could stay with some friends on Sat night around Claremorris (Mayo - Galway - Roscommon boundaries) or look out for some suitable place in co. Clare / Galway.
