I got my 1985 K100 18 months ago as a project (cafe racer...sorry to the purists!). It's an ongoing project (will she ever be completed!?), alongside the 1998 R1 and 1980 RD350LC. Since she's been on the road, the R1 has hardly been ridden. I find the Kay such an easy ride with plenty of power, and now with a retro look that I like. I'm looking forward to picking all your brains as and when required! And If I can help anyone with any queries, I will do my best!!

Welcome clivus.
Not sure you can upload directly from a phone and you'll probably drive yourself mad trying.
If you want to see a real cafe racer brick, look for Mike's JJ Cobas replica thread. It'll set a new benchmark for you.

Think you aren't quite there yet...
Photos for threads have to be hosted. Have a look at the buttons just above where you type a reply. First is for hosting, second is for pasting.
There a full write up somewhere but I can't remember where.

Hi Clivus. There are a few who have posted direct from a phone, I don't remember their names but you can find then by following the screaming but getting through the locked door will be difficult.

We did two weeks in England including a week long coach tour of Devon and Cornwall, and the only time it rained was when we went to Stonehenge! Was bloody windy at Tintagel too. Might get back over one day, need to see the North half, and I want to go to Holmfirth before Last of the Summer Wine is forgotten. Nice cafe, I'm going to make one when I get my hands on another K.
