Duncan from Glasgow here, I've been getting little gems of knowledge for years of this site and now finally got round to registering. I'm on a 1984 naked k100 bike, it's a bit of a mongrel and made up of various years.

I'll get some pictures up at some point however shes not too pretty, generally I roll with the used and abused look to keep the scallys away, scratch the surface though and she is well looked after,

This popped to mind on the topic of kilts, she actually looks alright on a sunny day albeit a good few years back shes a tad different now days.

That K looks well kilted out.

However what is of significant interest is that 'thing' behind the rear wheel........Expect an interest from 88KE!!

The rear cowl with the grab handles is later than 84 but looks good......

This is my one...New member TartanBar

Yeah the toe bar and trailer causes some entertainment, The toe bar is a whore of a thing to assembly up around the bike tho, I keep thinking I want to make more of a user friendly one for general maintainence etc hell knows if that will ever happen tho. Nice threads!

You called ???? I like the orange. Hope you're keeping that Ddunks.

I'm caught between the whole used not too abused look and a rolling resto which has slowed massively since single parenting became the m.o. Mine still goes and stops on the button and keeps up with the best of modern bikes.

As Olaf said a lumpy thing behind the wheel will be added too.!!

Good to see you've ventured out of the shadows - I'm sure you've lots more to contribute.
