Seems this time of year comes round fast.

So every year we arrange a meet up and somehow we manage to find the one day Dai can't make it.

Christmas is a Monday and 29th being Friday might seem a good day but most likely an evening for family etc etc etc.

How does Wednesday 27th or Thursday 28th sound? Or is Friday 29th better? What days work or suit most? Dai get your word in early if you can and don't forget Comberjohn!!

Usual time 11am travel as you please depending on weather/car etc. Break up is usually around 1-1:30 and home for mid/late afternoon.

Christmas puddings and cream [custard] a plenty as usual. Anyone liking a Christmas pudding as well just let me know. I have my usual list of puddings to bring anyway.

I believe Jedi Girl will be along this year too.

Sadly, I'm out this year - already having family visits arranged  'tween Christmas and New Years Eve.

The team is reducing itself by one at the end of this month... consequently the rest of us will have to work all three days of Christmas week to cover for the loss of a one person.

Oh well looks like we will be mailing a lot of puddings......

I hope Ringfad makes it so Dai and Comberjohn get their Christmas pudding by special delivery service.....

At the moment with some degree of confidence I reckon its looking like 88 Bjorn Cluainsi PatOD Corkboy GediGirl and myself so hope it grows in number. I reckon Trapper will be along too, he has an order in for a take home pudding too!!

I hope the border is not in place as I am not sure how customs would handle your puddings.

Never felt the need for either! 

Not even on the June (winter downunder) run a few years ago to Cooma, in our Snowy Mountains. 
Note that I wasn't silly enough to continue on to the Alpine Rally and camp in the snow as Gaz, RossKKo and other fools did. 

Note also that RT, at that time recently K-deprived, rode his V-Strom which is massively less faired and complained of never being colder in his life, even though he also wasn't silly enough to camp in the snow.

Mind you, if we Aussies were riding in Irish winter conditions, the view might be entirely different.

I did acquire heated grips recently. They came attached to a K1100......

But I have had a heated seat and a cat on my Ks for yours. In the form of a feline that sleeps on the seat and keeps it warm......She probably says the same about how a nice warm seat comes home at night.

Comberjohn great to see you back here. Which brings up the Christmas Brunch. Do we go Wednesday, Thursday, Friday?

My gut feeling is Thursday so maybe state preferences and we will go from there.

All those days are good for me and if none of our Norn Iron contingent attend on the day I can happily bring the pudding's up to them after Stradbally.

Note: If Comberjohn attends the weather will be good, so we can bring a bike.

Confirmed that I'm working on the 24th(!), 26th, 27th, 28th Dec and 1st Jan. Buggers even wanted me to work on the 29th but I scuppered that one rather loudly. I'm sleeping on the other days.

Not me. Elizabeth's off-duty on the 29th, so I'd be deeply unpopular if I disappeared for the day. Can't blame her either.

I had a very nice outing on the K1100LT today, work related but it took me within 10 miles of Stradbally Fayre all in good sturdy sunshine.

So it got me thinking, Dai can't be with us either way, or so he says, but maybe on 29th he can tootle down WITH Elizabeth and Comberjohn if we have a nice day. There will be puddings.....

On a more serious note some folk seem to be organising Christmas things so maybe we should go for a date.

What say we to Friday 29th? 11am - 1pm or thereabouts as usual. Meet ups at Dunkettle in Cork say 8-8:15 and also at Cashel say 9:15?.

I have found one or two more Ks locally to me and might get them along. Found a very nice K1100RS last week.........and a red/yellow K1!

A few more familiar faces in Cluain Si and sgmayhew, I wills end emails and see how we get one here.

29th is good for me. I've put it in the calendar.

The ingredients are here so best get at it. I bought cider but now found gluten free beer.....

The only gluten containing items in my pudding were beer, flour, breadcrumbs and I now have all three sourced gluten free.

Thanks to everyone for a great day. Really enjoyed the K company, breakfast, BUT especially the plum pudding - unforgettable - Thank You Olaf.

As Alyn says it was great to meet up again and thanks to Olaf for the pudding - two of them will be making there way to Norn Irland very soon.

Great to see you lot getting together and having a good day. Looks like the weather was kind to you as well.
The sight of Olaf with a bag in hand, no doubt full of puddings, looks familiar to me.

A little confession. I did make one for you for the brunch, but there was a water in pudding incident and it died so I was left with the one you took home. Feed back was good because I will make more of that recipe.

Wonder now will we get you to K Fest..........by the way they extracted a supply of Christmas puddings from somewhere for it....!!!

They nearly got lobbed... Problem was, with no note left with them we had no idea who left them and (importantly for us veggies) what was in them.
