Hi guys

Currently I'm changing the big seal in the final drive on my 87 rt. Im in doubt how far I should press the seal in the housing. Is it supposed to sit flush with the surface inside the housing or the outside of the housing?

Best regards

Quick question about the monolever final drive Img_0010

I pushed mine in so that it was flush with the outside of the housing and it hasn't leaked since it was done. When I say 'pushed mine in' I mean exactly that - I just used my thumbs and went round the seal evenly. Grease the outside of the seal first.
