I did quickly try to see if my simple question was answered before but did not find a previous answer.
Simple question: Are the dash switches on the K100 RS series bikes simply held in by a pressure fit from the two plastic tabs or are those tabs supposed to latch to something?

They latch in a little into a rim in the dash pad hole via those two tabs.
