Went to pull the tank off to give myself a bit better access to some hoses I wanted to replace. I took a peed inside and noticed a tool hanlde... Hmmm... Pull it out to find this...

Look what I found in my tank... IMG_20110922_132440

A few weeks ago I was on my way home from work and the bike died. Since I was only a few blocks from my mechanic I dropped it with him to suss out. He found a hose clamp had come loose from the fuel pump, reattached it and sent me off N/C. Looks like he got a bit lazy about putting his tools away tho...

Well, new 9mm flex driver for me!!! Wheee!

That mechanic is probably going insane wondering where he left that driver. Although after a certain age, you just kind of accept that things disappear.....it's a mystery.

Didn't I just read on News of the Weird about some large surgical tool that had been left inside of a patient for twenty years!?

"Now where is that damned intramedullary kinetic bone distractor? I had the bloody thing a moment ago!"

@Charlie99 - no.. the woes continue. My used AFM unit shows up today so I'll be popping that in either tonight or tomorrow and see what that does. If that doesn't do the trick, I'm going to pull the injectors and get a better idea of what they are doing.

Man that's given me another good idea, I know where to keep my emergency tool kit now, won't have to open up the seat.
Let's see, spare clutch and brake cables, relays and socket set.
