Any suggestions as to a source in the Halifax, Nova Scotia area to source a replacement battery?
and yes it is really baked.
Purchased the machine used a year ago with unknown service history,(118,00Km)Otherwise the unit is in fine shape having Wintered inside all its life.

Helmut,

I sent you a personal mail on this site.
I am removing your phone # and Email address from your posting. THIS IS FOR YOUR PERSONAL PROTECTION

Please do not include your cell phone # or real address on a post.
This is the best way to have internet robots collecting the data and after this you will receive a lot of phone calls from call centers or spam Emails.

As a rule for you own personal protection:
If you have to give personal information to a specific person, please use the 'MP' option and send an email to this person.

Internet robots are always scanning all the sites on the Internet and collect phone # and Email addresses posted.
This is not only valid for this site, but for each one on the net.

The information that you give when registrating to this site seems to be pretty secure and nobody has ever received any spam after releasing the minimum of personal information required.

As a rule, I have an Email on hotmail used exclusively to register on sites where they want my Email address. This address is never used for personal contacts, family or friend.

Please keep your personal life PRIVATE (remember 1984 from George Orwell "Big brother is watching"?)

As an exemple, one day I saw a biker advertizing his bike and telling everybody that he would be out of the country for the next 3 weeks.
I called him and asked him if it was OK to break in his garage during the time that he was in vacation and his house was left unattended.
He quickly realized his mistake and modified his ad.

Bert

Thank you for the info. You were correct in that a battery was forthcoming within 3 hours of the phone call.
And half the price quoted by Pro-Cycle!

With Thanks
The baby comes out of the barn today!
